Hah finally back home, from the hot sun and humid condition of Sepang F1 Circuit - The Home of Malaysia's Motorsport - witnessing the Japan GT 2007. My first time to Sepang (Don't ask me why I just never bother going/never had free tickets/lazy) and I'm already looking forward to next year's F1 & MotoGP race! Was positioned at the hairpin for most of the race until me and Eugene decided to get out and find other photoshoot spots.
Got there at about 11ish, parked quite far away and already hearing engine and misfiring noise from the circuit. Immediately next to the open parking area is an on-going drifting show/competition. First attempt to the circuit was blocked due to Eugene bringing in a handycam - remember NO handycam at Sepang - but then we got in eventually the second time.
The grandstand tix were Free Seating so we could walk to anywhere around the V-shape grandstand that covers the front straight, back straight and the hairpin.
First race that we saw was the Asian GT Challenge (1o laps) then followed by a 45mins PIT Walkabout session which cost RM100 each (nope, we didn't go in but later regretted because we could see all the GT queens & babes all posing in the PIT). After that was Formula V6 Asia Grand Race (F1 kinda cars) and break for another 2 hours before the Japan GT actually begins.
We left with about 10 laps from the end to avoid traffic. Time to talk less and more photos:
-coming soon-
Stay tune for the photo set at Life Taste Good.
