What happened since July...

*warning: this is going to be a very long post*

Okay I'm damn lazy to blog right, I last blogged about Pam's getting married and she's pregnant now, I bumped into her in Midvalley on Saturday evening with Phil, and she's delivering soon.... OMG time flies. And the next thing I know I'm going to get invitation to another newborn baby celebration dinner.

Anyways here are the highlights of what happened over the past 4 months. I don't know but it seems that ALOT has changed in just 4 months. I'm amazed myself of how things have gone the way it is now, just 4 months ago it was so different.

November

Melaka

If Genting was cool, then this was Super cool. No pictures yet but very soon I promise. The only thing NOT cool about Melaka is having to travel drive 30 kilos to and from 3X just to find food! Yeah we stayed in a huge bungalow at A'famosa Resort, and we travelled to the town thrice. I'll just let the pictures do the talking when it's up. Stay tune!

Genting

Yeah so it's the first trip with the bunch and I tell you it they are so so unbelievable. Pictures do the talking...

Hanoi Trip

Not exactly a trip that I very look forward to, but it was still fun and I enjoyed it. The weather was very good, the rain doesn't do much bad. When we were there it was first day of Winter so it was cool all the time and it is so nice to walk around the streets of Hanoi. The city itself has grown into a tourist city, instead of their own city (If you get what I mean). In other words, I think it's losing its own identity. Everywhere you go you'll find Internet cafes, cheap hotels, backpackers lounge, restaurants that caters international flavors. And not to forget travel and tours agencies. And that journey to and from Halong Bay is the worst. Bumpy roads all the way just to see some limestones and commercialized caves. Throughout the whole trip I think I enjoyed the morning walk around Hoan Kiem Lake the most.

We went karaoke at Neway as part of the infamous *Team Building* session, which also collided with Wong and my birthday so it was an *okay lets do everything together* thingy. Took some pictures but too lazy to upload them. Later, maybe.

September

Hong Kong Trip!

Had loads of fun in Hong Kong! Even though it was with my family (Alot of people don't seem to enjoy trips with parents and all, I understands that, sometimes I don't too =P) but it was really fun. This trip was really all about eating, walking, eating, walking, eating and walking. Even the amount of food I put in my stomach I lost 5 kilos when I got back. I can confirm it is the walking that does the good.

At The Peak. Forgot how much it cost but it's not cheap. Here is the famous "san deng", meaning "hill top" where you can see the whole Hong Kong island, and even Kowloon, across the strait.

We went to Macau too. This place is 24/7 filled with tourists from all over the world. I can't imagine how the residents that stays nearby can stand the noise, from as early as 5-6am. They're probably too numb to feel that already.

Langkawi Trip

Langkawi trip was a quick plan since March because AirAsia had zero fare promotion. The fare wasn't zero but 5 cents =P it was close to zero so we booked it anyway LOL. Return flight only cost RM100 or 103 or somewhere there.

I didn't really take much pictures at Langkawi. Too busy to drink and eat. The food there not bad. The chocolate there cheap. The alcohol there damn bloody cheap. 1 litre Vodka RM32. 1 litre Chivas RM66. Where got time to take pics???

Public Bank Annual Dinner

The company's 42nd Birthday bash, held at Sunway Convention Centre. The first real get together as a Team if I remember correctly. And it was Kumar's final days at Public Bank. Had fun. All that I felt that night was *it's just another annual dinner*. I mean I'm being honest, nothing special, just getting together having a nice dinner. Best part was the dancing part where we all waited for *Queen of the Desert* performance, participated by Soo, Logan, Aaron and other SMD peeps. Oh and not forgetting the pictures snapping sessions.

Okay lah I admit I had fun at the dinner. Just that I didn't really look forward to it and feel *ah, another annual dinner* before I arrive. In the end I had fun. Tooks loads of pictures. Sorry no link to "more pictures" coz there are too much. I haven't found time to upload everything or create an album for it somewhere/anywhere on the Internet.

Pam's married :D

Yay! It was an unforgettable night, because Pam got married! But of course there were another story. The free flow red wines, whisky and brandy is NOT a good idea at all. Like what Robert said, the alcohol counter just outside the grand ballroom is for the "alcoholics anonymous". Then the 4 of us became the alcoholics... Hail the drunkards: HH, ROB, CK and GT! :P

Nonetheless, congrats Pam & Phil!

A visit to the dentist

Besides blogging, it's also been a while since I've paid a visit to the dentist. Did a checkup and some cleaning this morning. Everything's okay with my teeth!

Anticipating yet another epic match between Federer and Nadal later on StarSports and of course the British Formula 1 GP.
